June 24, 2016Food Box Program
Fresh produce is upon us, and Tree To Me is pleased to offer a food box program for the 2016 season.
The program will run June 30 until the end of September, and will feature a weekly pre-packed box of seasonal fruits and vegetables. Our orchard grows apricots, peaches, plums, and apples, and our field and greenhouse supply greens, root vegetables, tomatoes, peppers, squash, melons, corn, and much more!
Our boxes will contain 8-10 different organically grown products each week, and will serve a small family or two adults with healthy appetites for veggies.
The cost for a box is $39/week, plus a bin deposit. All orders must be pre-paid either in person or by phone, by end of day Monday, for a Thursday or Friday pickup. We also encourage pre-payment in four (4) week blocks to assist us with planning.
Boxes can be picked up on Thursdays after 2pm until Friday close of business at our location, 1217 Hwy 3A, Keremeos. We are open until 5pm during spring and fall, and 6pm during the summer season.
To sign up, or for more information, contact our café at (250)499-9271.
June 8, 2016Greenhouse Kale
Through an assessment from our certifying body it has come to our attention that some products planted in manure aged 4-5 years were harvested prior to the minimum 120 day requirements. Greens from our greenhouse were part of this finding. Any one who has purchased kale from our market within the last week is welcome to return for a refund or exchange of product. All affected material has been removed from our system, and measures have been taken to prevent a future occurrence. Please contact us for more information.
June 7, 2016Cucumber Seedlings
We grew more seedlings than we can plant in our field, and have organic pickling and slicing cucumber seedlings for sale. Come have a latte and bring something home for the garden!
